Arithmetic Steps is a free learning aid for exploring addition and subtraction. It supports conversation; it is not a test, grading system, or substitute for a teacher’s professional judgment.

Using the product

You may use, copy, and adapt the software under its MIT License. Please use the learning activity in an age-appropriate setting. There are no accounts, purchases, leaderboards, or promises about academic outcomes.

Your route data

You control exported route files and are responsible for storing them safely. Do not add personal or sensitive information to filenames or files shared with others. Browser storage can be cleared by the user, browser, or device and should not be treated as permanent archival storage.

Availability

The product is provided “as is,” without warranty. Offline use depends on the browser successfully caching the app after an online visit. Features may change as the pedagogy and accessibility are reviewed.

Responsible use

Do not use the site to interfere with its availability, probe other systems, or violate applicable law. The project does not provide a communication channel between children and strangers.
